y’all! Shalom!

B’nei mitzvah of

Clementine, Hazel & Leo

March 30, 2024 | 20th of ADAR II, 5784

We are thrilled to invite you to celebrate as Clementine Davis and Hazel and Leo Tversky are called to the Torah to become Bat and Bar Mitzvot!

You may have experienced a Bat, Bar or B’nei Mitzvah celebration in the past, or this may be your first time (don’t worry — we’ve got you covered!). Either way, it’s unlikely you’ve experienced one where the teens leading the service together are such great buddies that they decide to join forces on a celebration afterward as well! The 6 Tversky and Davis kids met at Congregation Beth Israel half a decade ago, and have been joined at the hip ever since. As you’ll see in March, combining our celebration of these “final three” has made this rite of passage all the more special for our families and the friendship we’ve forged over the years. In case you aren’t familiar with all three, here’s a quick intro:

Clementine

As a theater kid who has never shied away from the stage, Clementine has been looking forward to this day for years. She especially loves Jewish prayers, having spent the past several summers attending Greene Family Camp. Her one request for this day?

Get ready for Silent Disco!

Leo

With three older sisters, Leo knows how to add fun and mischief to any festivity. While B’nei Mitzvah prep was not all fun and games, he was determined to make sure that the celebration will be. Which is why you’ll find a special game room at the celebration!

Cornhole anyone?

Hazel

Fierce and affectionate, Hazel is excited to become a bat mitzvah with her twin and dear friend Clementine. She loves playing soccer, keeping everyone in line, and hanging out with her friends. She’s a grounded 13 year old, so we are especially excited to get her in the air for the hora.
